Internships for Film Minors
One of the six courses required for the Minor in Film Studies may be satisfied with a qualifying internship through any of the departments in the Film Studies Program. Internships are presently available with the North Carolina Film Office. Students may also arrange their own internship experience with approval of the Director of the Film Studies program.
Internships offer students experience in film-related activities outside the classroom. These activities include researching material in video archives, assisting production, script writing, and assisting camera personnel, among other duties. In general, the duties and responsibilities assigned to interns will be related directly to any previous experience with film and video.
Students interested in an internship should meet with the Director of the Film Studies Minor to discuss procedures.
